THE BIG ONE...
This project took countless twists and turns on its way to completion. From concept to idea generation to production, this one was a real workout. In the end, I was able to bring it to completion, and ended up with a pretty cool-looking brand in the process (if I do say so myself!).

The biggest thing I’ve taken away from this project is increased experience with publication design. It wasn’t the easiest thing to get a handle on in the beginning, but as I kept at it I was able to refine my choices and create structure and flow in each spread.

Port23 and more specifically, the Hostel at Port23, speak to a younger audience, especially ones with a sense of adventure. Making intentional moves with language and imagery were big tools I used to get that across.





MERCHANDISE
Complementary items that would come with a stay at the hostel. The locker keychains are a personal favorite.
